Detox, Yoga and Meditation on Magical Bali
Join us for a fantastic yoga trip to magical Bali. It is the perfect island to dive deeper into your yoga and meditation practice. The island is surrounded by spectacular white sand beaches which we of course visit during the week. We stay at the beautiful Landih Ashram. Ashram means a quiet and secluded place for spiritual practice – and it suits this place amazingly! Landih Ashram is situated in the middle of Bali, close to Mount Batur, 1100 m above land and with a cool and comfortable temperature on around 20 to 26 degrees. The rooms at Landih are charming and built in a simple, natural, traditional Balinese style. At Landih you are surrounded by an environment filled with vibrant energy that is soothing and healing. The green soft hills shimmers with light and peaceful presence. You feel a part of the nature around you.
Detox and Yoga
Every day we start with a wonderful detox procedure where we cleanse both body and mind. The food during the week is vegetarian and consists to the bigger part mostly of fruit, vegetables, nuts, seeds, brown rice and homemade fresh yoghurt. All gluten, white rice, sugar and most dairy will be completely avoided. Yoga helps you feel peaceful, present, and gives new energy and deep relaxation. Some of the yoga sessions are focused on poses that helps the body release toxins. Every day there will be two yoga sessions, morning and evening. Every session is concluded with chanting and meditation practice.
Stay Another Week
If you think it is far to go all the way to Bali and just stay for one week, there is a possibility to stay a week extra.
The second week there will be no classes or workshops, it is completely your own time. During the week you can go on tours and also visit a little paradise island just outside the coast of Bali. We can also help to arrange a quiet and calm hotel in Ubud where you can explore Ubud on your own.
During your second week you can also climb Mount Batur which is a volcano mountain. The summit is at 1700 meters.
You start at 4 am and reach the top at sunrise and meet a fantastic view. You will have your breakfast at the top and then start the descend. The trekking is not that difficult. A person with normal health will make it with no problem. It takes about 2 hours to go up and 2 hours down. After your climb you can finish off with a visit to the hot springs at Lake Batur.
